Coupling with systems for materials characterization
The BTrap analyzer can be easily coupled to a thermogravimetric analyzer, an emission/adsorption chamber or an oven; for a comprehensive analysis of VOCs present in materials. Many applications can benefit from those measurements such as materials ageing studies, materials recovery control, materials toxicity characterization and materials adsorption efficiency assessment.

Easy setup on an engine test bench
Engine emissions can also be easily measured by BTrap as the analyzer can be setup on the ouput of the engine or exhaust system. The Real-time and high resolution analysis provided goes beyond current regulation requests. It helps anticipating VOCs analysis request in upcoming EURO regulations, enables characterizing SCR catalyzers, provides VOCs follow-up for fuels ageing studies and many others application requiring complete information.

Association with a multiplexing system for sequential sampling
By combining the BTrap analyzer with a multiplexing system -that we designed internally- we are able to analyze 10 separate sampling lines (up to 12, in option). This enables performing measurements in several places of a room, and upstream/downstream of a process or air remediation unit. The VOCs analysis that results is of great interest for industrial hygiene, air remediation unit performance assessment and processes optimization.
